Free Instagram Reels Mockup Generator
Compose a Reels-style still frame for a campaign pitch, storyboard or fictional creator scene. The portrait cover sits behind the creator and caption area, with the Reel action rail alongside it.
Independent fictional design tool. Not affiliated with the platform. Do not use generated images as authentic screenshots or endorsements.
How to create your instagram reel
Three steps, all in the browser. Nothing is uploaded to an account and nothing is published anywhere.
- Step 1
Upload a portrait cover
Choose a PNG, JPG or WEBP image and inspect how it fills the vertical frame. Without an uploaded image, the editor shows a clearly marked cover prompt on your chosen background color.
- Step 2
Add the creator and caption
Set the username, avatar, caption and audio label. Likes, comments and shares are fictional display counts. The bottom overlay improves legibility over a bright image, but you should still keep key visual details away from that area.
- Step 3
Export the still frame
Check the entire composition, including the side controls and the fictional label. Download the PNG directly from the free editor. Longer captions can make the composition taller, so keep the copy concise for a phone-shaped scene.

Will this generate a playable Reel?
No. This template exports a still PNG mockup. It does not render video, add playable audio or publish to Instagram.
Is the Instagram Reel editor free without Discord?
Yes. Open the template, edit the fields and download a PNG without an account. Discord verification and invite roles are used for the separate Proofs, Fansigns and Videos tools, not for this Social Mockups template.
What is included in the download?
The current preview is rendered as a PNG at 2x pixel density, including the visible fictional label. Uploaded images and text are part of the composition. It is a still design example, not proof of a real account, conversation or interaction.
