Legal agreement
Terms of Service
These Terms explain the rules for accessing larp.church, using its fictional social-media mockups, Discord layouts, fansign tools, and video generators, and downloading or saving the results. They describe what the Service is designed for, what conduct is prohibited, how Discord-based access works, who is responsible for uploaded material and generated outputs, and the limits that apply to availability, warranties, and liability. Please read the complete document before verifying or generating content.
Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and the operator of larp.church regarding your access to and use of the website, Discord verification flow, generators, previews, downloads, saved creations, and related features (collectively, the Service). By visiting the Service, authorizing Discord, selecting a template, generating or downloading content, or otherwise using any feature, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.
If you do not agree with every part of these Terms, you must not use the Service. Any additional written rules shown inside a particular generator, beta feature, Discord channel, or access screen are incorporated into these Terms for that feature. If a feature-specific rule conflicts with these Terms, the more specific rule controls only for that feature.
Eligibility and account responsibility
You must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering into a binding agreement, and permitted to use the Service under the laws that apply to you. You may not use the Service from a location where access to this type of content or software is prohibited.
You are responsible for the Discord account and browser session used to access the Service. Do not share authentication links, session data, access tokens, or restricted generator access. You must promptly secure your Discord account and notify support if you believe another person has gained unauthorized access through your account or device.
Purpose of the Service
larp.church provides browser-based creative tools for fictional social media mockups, roleplay scenes, parody, demonstrations, design previews, fansigns, Discord-style layouts, and customizable short-form videos. These tools are intended for lawful creative expression and clearly fictional or illustrative use.
Outputs are not authentic platform records, verified communications, financial documents, payment confirmations, account statements, identity documents, endorsements, evidence, or proof of any real-world event. A realistic appearance does not make an output genuine. You must never present generated material as authentic when doing so could mislead another person.
Acceptable and responsible use
You may use the Service for personal creative projects, fictional roleplay, parody, education, visual planning, commentary, entertainment, and other lawful purposes that do not violate another person's rights. Before publishing an output, you must review it, consider the surrounding context, and add a visible fictional, parody, or mockup label whenever a reasonable viewer could mistake it for a genuine record.
You are responsible for obtaining consent and permission for names, photographs, recordings, trademarks, copyrighted works, and other material you upload or incorporate. You are also responsible for following the rules of Discord and any social network, marketplace, game, community, or service where you share an output.
Prohibited use
You may not use, attempt to use, or help another person use the Service to:
- defraud, scam, deceive, impersonate, extort, blackmail, or falsely represent a payment, identity, relationship, endorsement, conversation, account status, or event;
- harass, threaten, dox, stalk, shame, exploit, manipulate, or violate another person's privacy, safety, publicity rights, or reasonable expectations of consent;
- create or distribute non-consensual intimate content, sexual content involving minors, exploitative content, or material intended to facilitate grooming, abuse, or trafficking;
- forge evidence, evade moderation or law enforcement, interfere with an investigation, or support illegal purchases, financial abuse, identity theft, account theft, malware, or unauthorized access;
- infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, contractual rights, or other legal rights, or violate the rules of a third-party platform;
- probe, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, disrupt, bypass rate limits or access controls, automate abusive requests, resell restricted access, or introduce malicious code;
- remove required fictional labels, watermarks, safety notices, or access restrictions from a feature when those controls are intended to prevent misuse.
Examples are illustrative and do not limit this rule. Conduct that creates a material risk to another person, the Service, or a third party may be treated as prohibited even if it is not specifically listed.
Discord verification and role access
Certain generators require Discord authorization, membership in a configured server, or a particular server role. Verification may use your Discord account identifier, username, avatar, membership status, and role information. If the flow includes server joining, you will be shown the requested Discord authorization before you approve it.
Access based on a Discord role is temporary and may be checked again whenever you use a protected feature. Removing a required role, leaving the server, revoking authorization, losing access to the Discord account, or violating these Terms may immediately remove access. A role does not create ownership, a permanent license, or a guarantee that a feature will remain available.
Your uploads, instructions, and creations
You retain any rights you already hold in material you upload and in eligible original material you create. You represent that you have every consent, license, and permission needed for the Service to process your text, images, audio, video, names, profile pictures, and other inputs.
You grant the Service a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, transform, render, and transmit submitted material only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, debug, and provide the requested feature. This operational license ends when the material is no longer reasonably needed, subject to temporary backups, security records, and legal obligations.
You are solely responsible for your instructions and outputs. Generated text placement, image compositing, animation, fonts, colors, and other results may contain mistakes or artifacts. Always inspect the finished file before publishing, sending, or relying on it.
Saved creations, downloads, and deletion
Where available, My Creations stores eligible output files in the browser and separates them by the verified Discord account identifier. Current saved creations are designed to expire automatically after three days. Browser cleanup, private browsing, storage limits, device changes, logout, software updates, or manual deletion may remove them sooner.
The Service is not a permanent archive, cloud drive, or backup service. You should download any output you want to keep immediately and maintain your own backup. We are not responsible for an expired, deleted, corrupted, unavailable, or unsaved creation.
Third-party platforms and brand references
Discord, PayPal, Cash App, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Roblox, and other names, logos, interface elements, or services referenced by the generators belong to their respective owners. larp.church is independent and is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or affiliated with those companies unless expressly stated.
References may appear for identification, commentary, parody, interoperability, design demonstration, or fictional mockup purposes. Your use of a third-party account or platform is governed by that third party's terms and privacy policy. We do not control their availability, moderation decisions, API behavior, security, or treatment of content you post.
Service operation, beta features, and changes
The Service is provided on an evolving basis. Features may be added, redesigned, rate-limited, placed in beta, marked in development, restricted to certain roles, suspended, or removed. We may change templates, supported formats, file limits, cooldowns, retention periods, and technical requirements to improve reliability, reduce abuse, or respond to legal and platform changes.
We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular rendering speed, compatibility with every browser or device, permanent storage, exact visual accuracy, or continued support for any specific integration. Maintenance, third-party failures, capacity limits, security events, and network conditions may cause delays or downtime.
Free access and future paid features
The current Service is offered without a purchase requirement. Because there is currently no direct purchase, there is no separate refund policy. Access may still be limited by Discord roles, cooldowns, fair-use controls, technical capacity, or these Terms.
If paid features are introduced, the applicable price, billing interval, renewal, cancellation process, and any legally required refund or withdrawal rights will be clearly disclosed before payment. Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer protection, warranty, refund, or cancellation right that cannot lawfully be waived.
Intellectual property and restrictions
The original software, visual system, branding, written content, arrangement, and compilation of the Service are owned by or licensed to the operator of larp.church. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
You may not copy or sell the Service itself, extract or commercially redistribute its template library, create a competing service by systematically reproducing its design or data, remove ownership notices, or falsely claim affiliation with larp.church. No license to any third-party trademark, copyrighted interface, character, image, or other protected work is granted by these Terms.
Moderation, suspension, and termination
We may investigate suspected misuse and may warn, rate-limit, suspend, block, or permanently terminate access when we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, created a security or legal risk, interfered with the Service, or exposed another person to harm. We may preserve relevant technical records and cooperate with lawful requests or emergency safety matters.
You may stop using the Service at any time, log out, revoke the application in Discord's Authorized Apps settings, and delete locally saved creations. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, responsibility for prior conduct, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—remain effective.
Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SECURITY, AVAILABILITY, OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
We do not warrant that an output will meet your expectations, be accepted by any platform, remain available, or be suitable for a legal, financial, identity, evidentiary, safety-critical, or commercial purpose. You use the Service, third-party links, and generated files at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LARP.CHURCH AND ITS OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, DATA, REPUTATION, BUSINESS, OR OPPORTUNITIES; OR CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR CONTENT, OUTPUTS, THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT, SERVICE INTERRUPTION, ACCOUNT COMPROMISE, OR UNAUTHORIZED USE.
Where liability cannot be excluded, total aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly to larp.church during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD $25. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law, and mandatory rights that cannot be limited remain unaffected.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless larp.church and its operators, contributors, and service providers from claims, demands, losses, liabilities, judgments, and reasonable costs arising from your uploads, instructions, outputs, publication or distribution of content, misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of another person's rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused solely by conduct for which indemnification cannot lawfully be required.
Disputes, governing rules, and contact
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact support through the official larp.church Discord server, describe the issue in reasonable detail, and allow 30 days for an informal resolution. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the Service operator is established, without applying conflict-of-law rules, while preserving any mandatory protections available to consumers in their country of residence.
If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited only as much as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A delay in enforcement is not a waiver. These Terms are the entire agreement about the Service unless a separate written agreement expressly applies.
We may update these Terms prospectively to reflect feature, safety, business, or legal changes. The effective date will be updated when the revision is material. Continuing to use the Service after revised Terms take effect means you accept the revised version. Questions can be submitted through the official larp.church Discord support channel.
