Free Twitter DM Generator & X Chat Mockup
Build an X-style private conversation for a fictional scene or interface presentation. Unlike the tweet template, this editor has separate sent and received messages, a contact header, a date divider and a conversation input area.
Independent fictional design tool. Not affiliated with the platform. Do not use generated images as authentic screenshots or endorsements.
How to create your x (twitter) mobile dm
Three steps, all in the browser. Nothing is uploaded to an account and nothing is published anywhere.
- Step 1
Create the contact
Edit the display name, handle, profile photo and status label. Select dark mode for a black conversation background or light mode for a white one. These details describe your scene, not a real account's activity.
- Step 2
Arrange the dialogue
Add up to twelve messages. Each has its own text, time and sent-by-you setting. Move messages up or down to change reading order, or remove an entry without rebuilding the thread.
- Step 3
Check both sides before downloading
Look for accidentally reversed senders and unclear time changes. Long conversations produce a taller PNG rather than hiding the final messages. Export only after reviewing the complete fictional exchange.
Before you export
Can I make a Twitter DM with a black background?
Yes. Select Dark in Appearance. This changes the scene colors while preserving your message order and content.
Is the X (Twitter) Mobile DM editor free without Discord?
Yes. Open the template, edit the fields and download a PNG without an account. Discord verification and invite roles are used for the separate Proofs, Fansigns and Videos tools, not for this Social Mockups template.
What is included in the download?
The current preview is rendered as a PNG at 2x pixel density, including the visible fictional label. Uploaded images and text are part of the composition. It is a still design example, not proof of a real account, conversation or interaction.
